Role Overview
The Project Manager – Educational Programs will be responsible for the coordination and delivery of impactful educational initiatives in schools, aimed at empowering both teachers and students. This role combines project management responsibilities with the direct facilitation of training sessions, including "Train the Trainers" for educators and interactive learning experiences for students. The ideal candidate will be a skilled organizer, effective communicator, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring high-quality outcomes. Working closely with schools, educators, and partners, this role ensures that every educational experience is engaging, impactful, and delivered with excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and implement educational projects in schools.
- Deliver training programs for educators ("Train the Trainers") and facilitate workshops for students.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with educators, school administrators, and local stakeholders.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring effective resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and challenges, and implement proactive solutions.
- Prepare project reports, impact updates, and final evaluations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure the effective implementation of each project's communication plan.
- Maintain relationships with donors and partners, providing regular updates and impact reports.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in line with agreed quality standards.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 1-3 years of experience coordinating projects, preferably in education, nonprofit organizations, or the social innovation sector.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering training programs.
- Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Confidence using digital collaboration and project management tools.
- Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and spoken.
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
- Strong problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to build trust with diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Project Management, Education, or a related field.
- Experience coordinating donor-funded or EU-funded projects.
- Familiarity with e-learning platforms and blended learning approaches.
- Interest in educational innovation and emerging technologies, including AI.
